Graduation updates!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday and wish you all the very best for the new year!

Every year room parents and representatives work together with the teachers and staff to plan the events for the 5th grade promotion. This includes creating a theme for the year, designing class t-shirts, helping with field trips, assisting with the 5th grade promotion ceremony, clap out ceremony, teacher lunches and gifts and organizing the last day of school activities.

To cover the costs of these activities, each 5th grade family is expected to pay a $100 fee. A payment plan is available on the payment form on the PTO website. Please make sure to indicate your child’s t-shirt size! Here is the link to the form:https://poepto.membershiptoolkit.com/form/m/315066

The first paid 20 students of each cluster will be invited to lunch with the teachers in their cluster (Lunch 1: Knox/Wiggins/Ponce and Lunch 2: Riggs/Lopez/Hall). Begin payment plan by Jan. 17th to receive your desired t-shirt by the end of February.

Timely payment of the activity fee will ensure that we can order the promotion t-shirts as soon as possible.

We are very excited about the t-shirt design for this year which includes a theme logo designed by fifth grader Amelie Wu and the pop art themed self-portraits of all our students designed with the help of our wonderful Art teacher, Ms.Choi.

If you have any questions or concerns please write to graduation@poepto.org

Thank you!
