Poe Beautification Day

9-12pm at Poe

We use this day to a couple of times a year to add and upkeep the outside beauty of our school. The successes that we get to celebrate are heavily reliant on the help and support of our community. Come bring the whole family for a morning of service to help beautify the Poe Elementary campus! There are jobs for everyone from picking up trash with trash grabbers, planting new flowers and ground cover, trimming trees and fluffing mulch! Does your high schooler still need service hours? Send them to volunteer! No need to RSVP. Questions? Email: grounds@poepto.org

There are multiple ways to help and support this day. Here are some ways you can get involved…

1) Volunteer your time.

Come to Poe anytime between 9-12pm to plant, weed, or pick up trash. You can come for the entire event or stop by for a quick 30 minutes to lend a hand. Don’t worry, there will be plenty of things to do for the whole family (kids too!). 

2) Donate snacks and fruit.

Outdoor work uses lots of energy and our volunteers love when they can grab a snack bar or some fresh fruit. The snack and fruit can either be dropped off at 9am at Poe, or you can coordinate with Shannan O’Mara (grounds@poepto.org) for an earlier drop off time/day.

3) Become a sponsor or donate money to Poe Partners

Every year a large portion of the Poe PTO budget goes toward the Poe grounds. As a Poe Partner or Beautification Sponsor, you can contribute to the beauty of our school grounds!
