ABOUT THE AUCTION

The annual Poe Auction is the largest fundraiser of the year, consisting of a live auction event and an online silent auction. The live event is an adult-only social with exclusive opportunities, such as Principal for the Day and VIP Parking. Everyone can participate with all silent auction bids online. To help reach our annual fundraising goal we are asking for your support! The money raised from our auction funds educational programs, field trips, career week, technology upgrades and preservation of our historic school building. The current financial struggles of HISD have made our fundraising goals more important than ever for our local students.

Auction Store!

In the Auction Store, you may become an underwriter and/or purchase Tickets or Tables for your group. Tickets include admission, food, and 2 drinks. Tables include reserved seating, admission, food, and 2 drinks.

OUR AUCTION BID SITE!

On our Auction Bid Site you can register for online bidding and browse items for the Silent Auction portion of the event. This enables you to bid remotely IN REAL TIME in the Silent Auction with everyone else at the Live event! Keep an eye on that Countdown Clock! Registering will also ensure you receive all the latest auction updates and previews of the Live Auction items! Note that you must be present at the event to bid on Live Auction items, such as Principal for the Day and VIP Parking. Bidding for Silent Auction Items opens prior to the event date and closes February 21st at 10pm.
