From Nurse Lewis:

This year, Houston ISD is participating in a unique health service called Hazel Health. It is a FREE telehealth program that both the school nurse and the parent/guardian can access. Hazel Health offers telehealth visits both at school (set up by the nurse) and at home (7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).

The visit is FREE and you can use these services regardless of whether you have health insurance or not. If you do have health insurance, it will not be billed, but you will be asked to provide your insurance information when you register. Questions can be directed to nurse Lewis at Keely.Lewis@Houstonisd.org

Everyone is automatically a member of the Poe PTO and invited to create/update your account for the new school year. Click on the Login button in the menu to review your privacy choices for the directory and update your grade and teacher information so that you can receive emails from your teacher's room parents, the The Weekly View newsletter from Principal Jon Alaniz, and The Raven newsletter and other emails from the Poe PTO. If you are still not getting the emails, log in at the top of the page and go to the menu My Account >> Subscriptions. Email questions to help@poepto.org.

the 2025-2026 School Year!

The Poe Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) helps support our school through volunteering and also helps provide additional funds to continue programs, sponsor events, and purchase items by supplementing the funding from TEA and HISD. As part of the Poe community, EVERYONE - including parents, teachers and administrators - is automatically a member of the Poe PTO, and we welcome you to be part of the effort to provide Poe students with a strong foundation for learning and success.
