Courage (red) – Travel toothpaste
Knowledge (blue) – Toothbrushes
Resilience (orange) – Personal packs of Tissues
Integrity (yellow) – Travel shampoo/soap
Creativity (purple) – Deodorant
Curiosity (green) – hand towels/wash cloths
All Houses – Small water bottles and personal hand sanitizers
Giving Tuesday is right around the corner on December 3rd! Poe Partners is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization, so please keep us in mind when you and your families are deciding where to donate this year!
Many employers also offer expanded matching programs for donations made on this day or during this week, so you could be able to double or triple your donation to Poe! Any amount helps us fund the academic programs and community events that enhance our students' school experience, so many thanks in advance for any gift you can make that day. Also, the deadline to be included in all Poe Partners materials is around the corner on December 20, 2024. We want you included so please send in your Poe Partners contribution by the end of the year. Click here to donate. Thank you!
Holiday Gift Drive for our Poe Staff
Each year, we collect funds for our incredible Poe staff including the custodians, front office clerks, school nurse, cafeteria staff, teacher assistants and beloved crossing guards. Please consider a $15 donation per family. We are grateful for any amount and will make sure to spread the impactful gift and joy evenly amongst the team.
Please click here to make a donation towards the 2024 holiday gift fund for our staff before December 17th.
TO DO from Nurse Lewis:
Click here to Opt IN or OUT for 2024-2025
This year, Houston ISD is participating in a unique health service called Hazel Health. It is a FREE telehealth program that both the school nurse and the parent/guardian can access. Hazel Health offers telehealth visits both at school (set up by the nurse) and at home (from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday).
The visit is FREE and you can use these services regardless of whether you have health insurance or not. If you do have health insurance, it will not be billed, but you will be asked to provide your insurance information when you register. Questions can be directed to nurse Lewis at Keely.Lewis@Houstonisd.org
