The Final Countdown!
Hi Parents!
Here we are at the end of another year. These kids have so much to look forward to in these final days! Some quick reminders:
Wednesday the 28th is Market Day -- please be sure your child brings in their 25 crafted items for a fun day of commerce!
Thursday the 29th is Field Day -- please prepare your kids for a hot day in the sun! Wear shorts and send a towel/change of clothes as there will be water activities also. I'm looking for some help with coordinating the end of the year party on June 3rd! Please reply to this email or contact me directly at 713 855 0120 to help with planning or set up!
Lastly, I'm going to put together a gift for Mr Tellis to present to him on the last day of school. If you'd like to participate towards that, please send me a venmo @Charlotte-Loreman or zelle 713 855 0120 by June 1st.

ALL ART DAY
Hi parents!! This Friday is All Art Day and it’s gonna be a fun one!
I’ve attached the chalking schedule here — the PTO invites parents to join during their grade level session. Reminder it is free dress for the kids! I hope to see some of you there!

End of year party!
Hi parents,
Hard to believe the end of the year is already here! I'm looking for a few volunteers to help organize the class holiday party next Friday, 12/20 in the afternoon.

Mr Tellis’ Birthday!
Hi parents!
Mr. Tellis’ birthday is next week, November 19th. We’d love to celebrate him as a class before breaking for Thanksgiving. We intend to bring him lunch of his choice as well as a dessert to share with the class in the afternoon, and a gift card to show our appreciation for his hard work!

Join us for Movie Night!
Just a reminder that this Friday, November 15, is movie night at Poe! We will be screening Elf on the basketball court. The event starts at 5:30 with the movie screening around 6pm. It is free to attend. Bring your own snacks or purchase popcorn and pizza on-site. Make sure you bring a blanket to sit on!

Solo un recordatorio de que este viernes 15 de noviembre es la noche de película en Poe. Estaremos exhibiendo la película Elf en la cancha de baloncesto. El evento comienza a las 5:30 p.m., y la película se proyectará alrededor de las 6:00 p.m. La entrada es gratuita. Puedes traer tus propios bocadillos o comprar palomitas y pizza en Poe. ¡No olvides traer una manta para sentarte!

Carnival Class Booth: Spin Art - Volunteers Needed
Mr Tellis' class booth at the Poe Carnival next weekend is Spin Art!
We need parent volunteers for the 9:30-11am; 11-12:30 and 12:30-2pm time slots.
Volunteers for this booth will manage the line and take tickets. High school volunteers will also be present to help if you want to delegate the actual help with painting. All instructions will be at the booth Saturday morning.

Upcoming Events
Hi Parents!
With October drawing to a close the kids have lots to look forward to in the next couple of weeks. The Carnival committee wanted me to remind you all that the T SHIRT PRESALE was extended and runs through Monday, Oct. 21. Shirts are for sale on the Poe PTO website along with tickets and other sponsorship opportunities
