Please join us for a party to celebrate the end of first grade! It will be next Tuesday, June 3rd (the second to last day of class, we are not allowed to do class parties on the last day of class). It will be at 1:30 and you must be VIPS approved to attend. Here is the link to the sign ups! I will have a polaroid camera to take pictures with Ms Taggart so one picture can be for her and one for your student. I will also be collecting money to purchase a gift card for Ms Taggart from the entire class, participation is optional, the gift will be from the entire class.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

I have been asked to share information about our Poe Auction attached. The silent auction link will be sent out later today. 

Let's show our wonderful teacher some love this Valentine’s Day! Next Thursday 2/13, please bring a flower for Ms Taggart and you can invite your kiddo to make cards. I will have a vase for your little one to put their flower in and place their card with.

We won’t have Valentine’s parties, but on 2/13, Poe will have We Love Science Day! I will do a science (geology) lesson in the morning. 

Ms Taggart asked everyone to bring a box to decorate on Wednesday and Valentine’s to distribute on Thursday.

Parents, reminder that today is our Holiday Party from 1:30 to 2:30. Thank you for all the support on the sign up sheet! We can arrive ten minutes early to help set up if needed. I will bring the gift card for $250 and a little gift tower and will sign the card from the entire class!

Attached is a sign up genius for our classrooms holiday party on December 20^th from 1:30-2:30. All parents are welcome, but you must be VIPS approved! If needed, the VIPS application is on the HISD website or you can ask me and I would be happy to find it for you.

My class and I would appreciate any help with food, games, holiday crafts, ect.
