Hello fellow 2nd grade parents!
Here are a few things happening in Miss Reyes' class this week:
1. Reminder that today (Thursday) is library day. Be on the look-out for library books coming home with your kiddos. Remember to send books back to the library that you and your child have finished reading.
2. The field trip originally scheduled for Nov. 5th has been postponed until Dec. 10th. We will still be going to Dewberry farms.
3. School pictures and proofs should have gone home on Tuesday, November 5th. There is a code provided in which you can purchase pictures.
4. Miss Reyes is asking for donations of the following items for the class, as they are running low: hand sanitizer, tissue boxes, bottles of disinfecting wipes and lysol or other disinfectant spray. We have several kids who have been under the weather this week. We would like to prevent germs from spreading as much as possible.
5. Important and Upcoming dates:
November 15th--Movie Night--Poe Basketball Court--5:30pm setup 6pm movie starts
November 16th--Poe Beautification Day-- 9 am-12 pm
November 21st--Poe Thanksgiving Picnic Lunch--2nd grade time is 11:25 am--11:55 am
