Ms. Noone has planned a disco dance party to celebrate the end of second grade. Our party will be next Tuesday 6/3 at 2:00pm. Room Parents will take care of food and drinks.  Please check out the Amazon wishlist if you would like to contribute supplies for the party. Ms. Noone is also allowing four parent volunteers to attend the party. Please sign up here if you would like to attend and make sure you are VIPS approved. Thank you all for such an amazing year! Just a friendly reminder that Teacher Appreciation Week kicks off tomorrow. Please see below for ideas on how we can show Ms. Noone how much we appreciate her all week long!

Monday: Walk of Fame- chalk the sidewalk with kind messages and drawings

Tuesday: Fan mail- write a note of appreciation from child and/or parent

Wednesday: Concession stand- Bring your teacher their favorite drink or snack

Thursday: Curtain Call- draw, craft, or bring a flower or other small gift to your teacher

Friday: Red Carpet- Dress in your teacher's favorite color (Ms. Noone's favorite color is white)

Teacher appreciation week is next week May 5th-9th. We have a Hollywood themed week of activities to celebrate our star teachers. Please review the attached flyer for ideas on how to participate. PTO will be sponsoring meals and snacks throughout the week. Ms. Noone's favorite things sheet is attached.

There is currently low water pressure at Poe resulting in toilets not flushing. While an early dismissal has not been announced, you may want to consider picking up your child early especially if they have incontinence issues. Ms. Noone is currently not as school, but will be returning after lunch.

Hello Everyone,

Ms. Noone would like to give the kids a special treat while exchanging Valentine’s on 2/13 - Ice Cream Sundaes!🍦🍨 Becca has created a sign-up sheet for items needed. You can send them to school with your kiddo the day of or deliver them to the office anytime before 1:30pm. We are also looking for one volunteer (select volunteer on sign up sheet) to assist with making the sundaes.

Hello Noone Parents! 
I can’t believe there are only 5 school days left until the holiday break - hope everyone is more prepared than I am. The school is allowing up to 7 parents for the holiday party this Friday at 1:45pm - please text me if you’re interesting and I will provide more details 832-271-9462.
Also, I am attaching a list of Ms. Noone’s favorite things in case anyone would like to send a Christmas gift with their kiddo this week (preferably Friday).

Hello Parents, the Carnival T-shirt presale was extended and runs through 12PM on Monday, Oct. 21. The shirts are for sale on the Poe PTO website along with the carnival tickets.

WOW!! Thank you to everyone who helped us make Ms. Noone's birthday a special day!

We collected $450 - which went towards an Amazon gift card ($250) and two $100 gift cards to her two favorite restaurants (Aga's and Torchy's)! Becca Shin put together a gift basket for the gift cards along with some of Ms. Noone's favorite snacks and a card signed by all the students, and Becca also picked up cupcakes for the class celebrate today!

This is just a reminder - if you would like to contribute towards Ms. Noone’s birthday gift, please do so today.🥳 And thank you to everyone participating!

Hi everyone! 

October 9th is Ms. Noone's birthday, and we would love to make her feel special by collecting donations to go towards a class gift! Rebecca (Mia's mom) has offered to collect through her Venmo account (QR Code attached) and deliver the gift along with some yummy treats for the whole class on 10/9. I have cash app if that works better for anyone ($MollyKalish) and Rebecca also has Zelle so please let us know if you need to send money using one of those!
