🎉 End-of-Year Party – June 2nd, 2:00 PM to Dismissal

We’ll be celebrating with a beach-themed class party on Monday, June 2nd from 2:00 PM to the end of the school day. Parents may attend and must be VIPS approved.

Ms. Cheng has planned a fun activity, and we’ll be setting up a beach-themed snack bar with:

• Juice in beach-themed cups with mini umbrellas

• Small sand pails filled with popcorn

• Pudding cups with graham cracker “sand,” a gummy bear, and a Life Saver to look like a bear lounging at the beach

• Beachy table decorations

Hello everyone!  We want to apologize for just now sending this information out. 

Let's shower Ms. Cheng with lots of love as she wraps up her first year as a teacher at Poe. The PTO is planning lunches, breakfasts, and snacks to celebrate all of the Poe teachers in this year's Hollywood theme. I’ve attached her favorite things list if you'd like to get something for her, too. Or if it is easier I can put together a gift and you all can contribute via Venmo.

Thank you and your children for your patience! Ms. Cheng's homeroom class will have a pizza party tomorrow during lunchtime. PTO will bring pizza, drinks and a treat for the class for your dedication and efforts towards the Carnival Drink Contest. Thanks so much for your support. We are grateful for all you do!

Dear Parents,

Poe Carnival is almost here! If you ordered a shirt before October 21, your child should have received it by now. Remaining shirts will be sent home today. If you didn’t order a shirt and still want one, there are limited in-person sales on:

- Wednesday & Thursday at 7:10am and 3:00pm
- Friday at 7:10am (until supplies last)
Youth shirts are $20, Adult shirts are $22 (cash, cards, and Apple Pay accepted).

**Ticket Pickup:**
Pre-ordered wristbands and tickets can be picked up on Friday, October 25th at drop-off or pick-up. They’ll also be available on Saturday, October 26th at the Carnival. Tickets will be on sale throughout the day.

**Drink Contest Update:** Thank you again for all your support! I have purchased 20 large packs of bottled water for the Carnival. We’re looking forward to a great event!

Hi Ms. Cheng’s Class,

We wanted to remind everyone that the annual Carnival Drink Contest starts this Wednesday, October 9th, and runs through October 23rd! You can drop off drink donations in the front hall during student drop-off, pickup, or school hours. Be sure to label your donation boxes with Ms. Cheng’s name. The class with the most donations wins a pizza party!  For anyone interested, I checked a few stores and Kroger is starting a sale on Wednesday for a 40 pack of water for $3.99 (see attached picture).  If you all don’t have time to grab the water, please just Venmo me and I will grab the water and drop it at school on your behalf! 

Also, don’t forget that tomorrow, October 8th, is Picture Day!

Lastly, if anyone would like to contribute to a lunch and coffee appreciation for Ms. Cheng this Friday, feel free to send your donations via Venmo to @layla-campbell-6.
